Blue Nose Drilling Commenced
August 10, 2009 - Infrastructure Materials Corp. (NASDAQ OTC-BB: Symbol IFAM) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that phase two drilling commenced July 22, 2009 on the Blue Nose Project located in Lincoln County, Nevada, approximately 90 miles north east of Las Vegas. Phase two will consist of 5,000 vertical feet of drilling in a target area previously identified as cement grade limestone from phase one drill results.

Phase two of the drill program will test the area Downdip in the zone drilled in phase one. The phase two drill program will concentrate on the stratigraphic horizon which is exposed on the surface to the east of the first phase drill holes. The dimensions of this area are roughly approximately 1,250 feet from east to west and 1 mile from north to south based on surface exposures. The Company expects that this next phase of drilling will provide enough information to put preliminary tonnage estimates on the resource.

Todd Montgomery, CEO, commenting on the progress of the Blue Nose Project stated, "We are pleased with the progress and results to date on the Blue Nose Project. Our team has been moving quickly through this grass roots exploration stage and we are confident that we will see some preliminary tonnage estimates that could serve the California and Las Vegas cement markets.

Infrastructure Materials Corp. is an exploration stage mining company that is directing its efforts to the development of cement grade limestone deposits in strategic locations in the United States.
